Lifestyle Recommendations: - Get adequate sleep each night - 8 to 9 hours. If you are having trouble sleeping please take our sleep questionnaire and see our Sleep Deep Protocol.
- Avoid stress and over-obligating yourself.
- Wash hands frequently.
- Think positive thoughts.
Dietary Recommendations: - Eat 5-9 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables daily OR add one heaping tablespoon of PaleoGreens to your favorite drink.
- Replace sugar with the polyol sugar xylitol. (Sugar suppresses the immune system.)
- Carry PaleoPackets, Paleobars and/or Brain Power Sours with you throughout the day to prevent missing meals or snacks.
- Drink 8 glasses a day of purified water. Stay hydrated!
- Protein is essential for our immune system. Eat protein at every meal such as fresh fish, poultry or lean red meat.
Supplement Recommendations: The following supplements are in addition to Twice Daily Essential Packets to supply your core vitamin, mineral, antioxidant and essential fatty acids. *For easier dosing, Allicillin can be taken in 2 or 3 divided doses @ 12 to 20 total per day. I personally take 6 capsules 2 to 3 xday. Experiment with dosing and see what works for you. Alliciliin is a very powerful anti-microbial. If you have access to the homeopathic remedy Oscillococcinum, available at select pharmacies and health food stores, take at the very first signs of a flu - 1 vial every 4 to 6 hours. Oscillococcinum is only effective at the first signs of a flu, or as a preventive when you have been exposed. Once you are ill, it will not be effective. In conjunction with the supplements in my flu protocol above, you can nip many flu infections in the bud or recover from one more quickly.
