Lifestyle Recommendations: - Avoid stress and extra obligations.
- Avoid alcohol consumption and smoking.
- Regular aerobic exercise such as walking, yoga, tai chi.
- Do not take tocotrienols (Annatto Tocotrienol ) at the same time as Vitamin E (alpha tocopherol or any tocopherols). Vitamin E in the form of tocopherols, are often in multi's such as Twice Daily Multi. As noted below, tocotrienols are effective for cholesterol regulation if taken 8 to 9 hours away from tocopherols.
Dietary Recommendations: - Avoid sugar and especially high fructose corn syrup.
- Limit starchy carbohydrates such as potatoes, pasta, rice, bread, crackers, etc.
- Eat protein at every meal emphasizing salmon, mackerel, herring, sardines and tuna.
- Avoid hydrogenated vegetable oils and fried foods.
- Cook with olive oil.
- Snack on vegetables and small amounts of nuts, olives or avocado.
- Eat 5-9 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables daily OR add one heaping tablespoon of PaleoGreens to your favorite drink.
- Replace sugar with the polyol sugar xylitol.
- Carry Paleo Meal Packets and/or PaleoBars with you throughout the day to prevent missing meals or snacks.
- Eat Garlic daily or take Allicillin daily (Allicin from Garlic).

Note: If you are taking Twice Daily Essential Packets , please take at breakfast and lunch. Taking vitamin E within 9 hours of taking your Ultratrienols will reduce or negate the effectiveness of its' cholesterol regulating properties.
